Sonoma Valley has long been known for its wine, and down-to-earth tasting experiences. With St. Francis Winery recently being voted the #1 Restaurant in America, by OpenTable, visitors and locals alike are now raving about the valley’s food and wine pairings too!

Here are a few of our favorite food and wine pairings found throughout the sweeping valley.

St. Francis Winery: In Kenwood you will find St. Francis Winery, voted the #1 restaurant in America by OpenTable. Be sure to make a reservation for a truly remarkable multi-course food and wine pairing. Executive Chef Bryan Jones creates an assortment of small dishes to pair with hand-selected artisan wines, while guests enjoy stunning vineyard views and a fine dining presentation at a shared table.

Landmark Vineyards: Further east along the same highway, Landmark Vineyards offers an afternoon tasting of their signature wines led by their knowledgeable Tasting Room staff. Following the tasting, they will lead you outside to enjoy a seasonal-fare filled picnic lunch in the courtyard, where you will be able to take in the magnificent views of the Mayacamas Mountains.

Mayo Family Reserve Room: Also located in Kenwood is the Mayo Family Reserve Room. Let Executive Chef J. Clayton Lewis take your taste buds on a seven course adventure as he pairs each dish perfectly with Mayo Family reserve wines. With menus changing seasonally the experience Chef Lewis has created encompasses what it means to experience wine and food in Sonoma Valley.
