Medlock Ames Winery

Since our beginnings over 20 years ago, everything we do at Medlock Ames is driven by sustainability, from our organic farming practices to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment. Our 338-acre property is a true Northern California wildland where 80% of the land is managed only for the ecological health of the native oak woodlands, grasslands, and chaparral. The remaining 44 acres are planted to organically-grown grapes, olives, and produce. Preservation of the land is at the heart of all we do. Our vines are located in the heart of Alexander Valley with heavy clay loam soils, creating muscular, deeply colored Cabernets and Bordeaux blends. We also craft refreshing and complex Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Rosé.
