Many people signing up for this newsletter are asking for the best time to visit this area. Well, we just finished our "Mid-Winter Heat Wave" last month so I expect a return to our usual unsettled spring weather until Easter (read that "rain," it's what makes the grapevines grow.) In general, expect occasional showers November through May, and dry the rest of the year. In the summer it's cold and foggy next to the Pacific (bring a windbreaker and hat) and hotter inland (tank top and shorts) - but it's never really unpleasant. Check out this site for weather predictions, choose the San Francisco area: http://www.weatherplanner.com
