HA! Our husbands would get along GREAT! My husband likes to point out that there is often a case discount and that it is more cost efficient to ship a case, and we often discover later that we wish we had gotten more, and so on and so.... You get the picture! Well, it is his only extravagance (other than me!) and I get to participate in the consuming, so win/win IP: 166.205.14.95 |

damombo, we just bought a couple of bottles of the 2007 Baldacci "Black Label" Cabernet Sauvignon among another few, we had selected 5 of their wines, i went to the restroom and by the time i got back, they were ringing us up for a case needless to say.. I can't leave my husband unattended IP: 166.187.245.110 |

The 2006 Baldacci "Black Label" Cabernet Sauvignon, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley was probably around $65.00. We decanted it for about an hour. It is well worth the price tag. A beautiful deep garnet color. When you swirl it in the glass, it coats the glass and those long, lovely legs are quite evident. Not necessarily a big indicator of anything, but fun to see, none the less. The nose, wow - it really fills up your nose, like a big cab should. The mouth feel is luscious - really coats and covers your mouth and lingers, making you chew and smack. A lovely face to make on Valentines, but oh well - we've loved each other for a long time and seen many a weird face I get lots of dark fruit - blackberry and black currant. So yes, Hawkeye, I'm thinking it qualifies for a WOW! An excellent choice for our Valentine's dinner. LIVG IP: 98.198.194.134 |

I have decanted the 2006 Cab - Stags Leap District, Napa Valley. I haven't tasted it yet because I'm waiting for my Valentine to get home - and he is on his way! I'll let you know whether we are wowed or not... I visited their website the other day and was rather shocked at the prices. We were there last February and I didn't recall them being quite so expensive. We first visited several years ago and I'm pretty sure they weren't that high. Oh well, things change!IP: 98.198.194.134 |
