Poohh66 Member	posted 02-17-2011 03:24 AM damombo ~ I had the Shrimp and Grits (my husband got me hooked on it years ago when we started traveling up to Hilton Head, SC, Savannah, Charleston) theirs was the best I have ever had, delish !!! My husband had the Cioppino and it looked real good, he really enjoyed it, the Fish and Chips kept passing us and it looked soooo good too IP: 173.168.214.16

Haven't been to Beringer or Hartwell, but did visit Raymond maybe 5 years ago, just don't remember the wines... Poohh66 Member	posted 02-14-2011 04:50 PM ~We started at Pride Mountain, what an awesome place, gorgeous view and Scott presented an outstanding tour of the property, definitely one of our favorite....having a mixed case shipped. Loved it !!! ~Beringer was very special, we did the Private Reserve Cabernet Retrospective Tasting, 1993 Private Reserve Cab, '96, '01, '03 and '07 and '08... We realized we better not age our Cabs too long, took home some of the '01 and some '07. This tasting was upstairs in the Rhine house, in a private room, very intimate and enjoyable, Gretchen first took us for a tour of the promises... which was pretty amazing! ~Hartwell - usually by appointment had an open house due to Valentine's Day weekend, fun!! 2007 State Reserve Cab. ~Raymond Valentine's Day Dinner/Pairing, not impressed, though we like their wines, but thought this $150/pp dinner pairing wasn't impressive though OK :-/ Ate dinner at Fish Story, downtown Napa, very good food, a loud, bar like atmosphere, tables too close together, but the food was excellent !! *correction, we ate dinner at Fish Story on day 3 my bad !!
