We visited Honig a few years ago and had a delightful time and the wines were very nice. We went back a year or so later, and not so much. That happened with Rombauer and Frank Family for us, too. Second or third visit didn't hold up to the initial visit. We may go back in a year or two and see what's what, but with sooo many new to us places, it may take a while!

~We started our day at Baldacci, very much enjoyed everything we tasted, Fran was wonderful and we ended up shipping a case home with a few of the 2007 Mathilde Pinot which was my favorite, the 2006 Ruppert my husband's favorite and a few of the '06 Black Label Cab....

~Honig, it was ok, but not one of my favorite, did the tasting and only bought one bottle of the '06 Cab Bartolucci Vineyard

~Peju (what an amazing place) they put us in a group and took us to Anthony's counter (a fun kid), after the basic tasting we stuck around and we asked if we could taste some of the Reserve, ended up getting a couple of the 2006 H.B. and a couple of the 2006 Cab Reserve, the 2006 Cab Franc Reserve and had to get a couple of bottles of their Provence for my father-in-law.

~Dinner at Fish Story was delish...
