Well now I'm just completely jealous. I'm kinda annoyed with you. Because I'm not going to be going along on these last few days. Won't be going on the earlier days either, but these last few days look so spectacular that I am actually irritated at you...
OK, fit over - I'm looking forward to hearing all about all these new wineries!! You have really lined up a terrific assortment. You and Mrs Hawkeye have remarkable stamina!!
The VIP tour at no charge! Super cool!
I'll be interested to hear of your take on Pine Ridge. We've been twice and neither time were we wowed...
I will REALLY be interested in the Thomas Brown wineries! I will definitely plan on visiting those next time we go.

Now you just have to sit back and wait for October to get here!

Here is the itinerary for Day 6. There are some new ones on here for us and some we have visited and enjoyed before.

The first appointment of the day was arranged by a District Manager for Stag's Leap Wine Cellars that we met here in Chattanooga at a Wine dinner. He has arranged for us to have a VIP tour at no charge . . . how cool is that?

10:00 AM
Stags Leap Wine Cellar - Appointment Confirmed 5/11 by Marcus Brinkerhoff
5766 Silverado Trail
Napa CA 94558

11:00 AM
Pine Ridge Vineyards - No Appointment Needed
5901 Silverado Trail
Napa, CA 94558

1:30 PM
Vine Cliff Winery - Appointment Confirmed 5/5
7400 Silverado Trail
Napa, California 94558

2:30 PM
Cliff Lede Vineyards - No Appointment Needed
1473 Yountville Cross Road
Yountville, CA 94599

3:30 PM
Robert Sinskey - No Appointment Needed
6320 Silverado Trail
Napa, CA 94558

Maybe Saddleback

Day 7 - This is one day that I am really excited about. We will spend the day up on Howell Mountain at all NEW, FAMILY OWNED wineries of the smaller varieties. I just started with Outpost because their winemaker is Thomas Brown and they suggested the other wineries when queried. Here they are:

10:00 AM
Black Sears Winery (Thomas Brown, Winemaker) - Appointment Confirmed 4/30
2615 Summit Lake Drive
Angwin, CA 94508

11:00 AM
Outpost Winery (Thomas Brown, Winemaker) - Appointment Confirmed 5/4
2075 Summit Lake Dr
Angwin, CA 94508

1:00 PM
O’Shaughnessy Estate Winery - Appointment Confirmed 5/4 - Can have our picnic before at one of their tables
1150 Friesen Drrive
Angwin, CA 94508

2:00 PM
Arkenstone Vineyards - Appointment Confirmed 5/4
335 West Lane
Angwin CA, 94508

3:00 PM
Cade Winery - Appointment Confirmed 4/24/11
360 Howell Mountain Road South
Angwin CA, 94508

This is part of the excitement, finding new wineries.

Day 8 - The day we leave, but not before a couple more stops.

10:00 AM
Spottswoode Estate Vineyard & Winery - Appointment Confirmed 6/6
1902 Madrona Ave
St. Helena, CA 94574
707-963-0134 ext. 11

11:30 AM
Diamond Terrace (Thomas Brown, Winemaker) - Appointment Confirmed 5/17
Maureen Taylor, Owner
1391 Diamond Mountain Road
Calistoga, CA 94515

Spottswoode probably has the best Cab to ever cross my palate until now. We are really looking forward to this visit. Diamond Terrace is another Thomas Brown winery.

Please, if you are familiar with any of these, leave me a comment. Thanks
