I am sorry, I just can't do the bubbles. It goes directly to my head and gives me a headache, thus the Spottswoode for Valentine's dinner.

V Sattui, Would you have something special for a group of 10 to 13 in early October? You need to know that I am not a fan of the limited wines I have tasted there. Please prove me wrong. If you want to do a private message, you can find my email address on the "?" mark box above.

Hi VSattui,

Hope you are well. We are very much looking forward to our trip in April as well.

As for Valentine's, a little Cuvee Rouge is always nice

BigSemi is a very good friend of the winery! We are looking forward to their visit in April.

AGREED! Bubbles is definitely a romantic wine....or fun on a Tuesday night with burgers and fries!

Of course we can't forget about Prosecco or even a Frizzante Moscato!

Hi Vsattuiwinery,

WOW, now maybe we will have someone on this Board who knows about wines other than those of us who would like to think we know about wines.

Actually, one of members of this Board, Bigsemi, is a club member at V Sattui.

Valentine's! Actually, we will be celebrating Valentine's on Saturday the 11th. I gave Mrs. Hawkeye the choice of the 11th or 14th to go to our favorite restaurant for dinner . . . she chose the 11th. We will be taking a bottle of 2008 Spottswoode Estate Cabernet to have with our dinner. It has lots of black fruit on the nose with a nice lingering finish to end. We liked this wine so much that we will purchase the 09 on our March trip.

Hello vsattui. Nice to see a winery on here. Hope you will continue to chime in!
We are debating between 2 wines for Valentine's Day- neither from Napa, though.
It will either be the Harvest Moon Sparkling Zin or an Iron Horse bubbly...depends on what's for dinner.
We usually go with a bubbler for "romantic"
events like V'day and anniversaries but that's not the only time we drink them.

Bubbles? Rose? Red? Dessert wine? We'd love to hear your opinion!
