I am glad you are on the mend and if you need any help on straightening out those doctors I am only 5 hours away. Take it slow and easy and let Mrs. Hawkeye wait on you for a little while. My cardiologist recommends a glass of red wine per day. I hope yours will do the same as soon as you get some of your strength back. Until then please take it easy. God bless you. Hawkeye Member	posted 11-23-2012 09:05 AM Hi, Guys and Gals, I got home Wednesday afternoon. It took them 6 hours to check me out for some reason. Lots of complications all not related to the surgery which took 4+ hours. I still feel like I have been run over by a MacK truck. I am on a extremely limited diet. I get one rubber chicken leg per day along with 1 plastic green bean but the best part is that I get to choose which meal I eat it. I am not sure if I will ever be able to go back to my favorite restaurant here in Chattanooga to eat. Somehow it got out that I have taken many trips to Napa Valley so I had a lot of my Docs coming around wanting suggestions. I told them I would lead a tour when I got permission (maybe that will speed things up with them). I had three primary doctors whil there, a cardiac surgeon, a cardiologist and a kidney doc. The cardiac surgeon told me that his partners were really interested in wine but that he himself was a Budweiser man. Told him id I had known that, I would have asked for another surgeon. I am in a 4-6 month recovery time. Let's hope it is shorter. Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts, they are all appreciated. I believe that I know who Grenache girl is, but I am not at liberty to divulge that type of information. I apologize for any and all spelling errors, I just didn't have the energy to correct. The operation will take somewhere between 4 and 6 hours. The cutter has promised me that he would have 2 bottles of Spottswoode Cab available in case I need a transfusion. What more could I ask for? Richard, Jeff, Bigsemi and Rebel, I will leave it up to you guys to keep Damombo and Yesilovewine in line. If y'all are so inclined, I would appreciate a couple of thoughts somewhere around 2:30 PM eastern time tomorrow. Maybe even raise a glass to me.
