Woooo! I just called to see about ordering the Howell Mountain Cab.
(We ordered last spring, and have in the cooler, the Diamond Mountain Cab - you had told us that it would be a good idea, so we got a case but have yet to crack one open)

ANYWAY! They have 2006, 2007 and 2008 Howell Mountain available, so we got a mixed case of 4 each! I love a vertical - we can enjoy 4 different gatherings with a wonderful Cab vertical. FUN!

Thanks, Hawkeye - you are the best (Maureen said to say Hello and thanks )

Hi Guys and Gals,

Last spring we visited and tasted the Diamond Terrace wines in the home of the owners, Maureen and Hal Taylor. We thought their 2 Cabs, Howell Mountain and Diamond Mountain, to be excellent. At that time, they were considering retiring from making their own wine. Their winemaker was Thomas Rivers Brown.

I just received an email from Maureen saying that they indeed had closed the winery portion of their business but would continue to tend to their vineyard and sell grapes to other wineries. In that email, she mentioned that they were selling their remaining stock of 2008 Cabs at a 25% discount with free shipping. The Howell Mountain sells for $75.00 and the Diamond Mountain for $55.00, minus the 25%. Their website is www.diamondterrace.com. So, if you like mountain wines, here is an opportunity to get some at a 25% discount.

As usual, I receive no commissions nor gratuities from this winery or any others. Just thought you might like to know.
