I am going to Sonoma next month and want to visit some wineries/tasting rooms on the coastal side of Santa Rosa. Has anyone been to the following places recently?: Hook and Ladder, Woodenhead, Sunce, & Marimar.
In the northern regions, I want to go to Trentadue, Sausal, Hawkes and White Oak.
If someone can tell me about their experience I'd appreciate it.

Dear Sue, I recommend you Keller Estate Winery that is in the Sonoma Coast. For your next visit to the region, I can tell you that Keller Estate is giving a free tasting, a tour, and a 5% discount in all of your purchases that day. Print the coupon that is in their website (http://www.kellerestate.com/visit) and take it with you.
Keller Estate has its own Club Members, and the Tastings and Tours are complimentary for them. If you print that coupon, you can be a Club Member for that day.
You can walk into a very beautiful Tasting Room overlooking the olive groves and vineyards through 500-ft.-long cave and into their state-of-the-Art Winery. The wines are superb, delicious and they release last weekend their Sparkling wine.
The experience is fabulous and the views are incredible!

It has been way too long since I have been wine tasting. Used to live in Santa Rosa & regularily drive Valley of the Moon stopping at all the wineries with a break @ Sugarloaf or Jack London. Loved the Pillow Fights! Back then the wineries didn't charge for tasting.
OK, we are planning a last minute overnight get away to SF with a day trip to Napa (CakeBread is my current fav Chardonnay) and Sonoma. Is there an easier way to go tasting? It seems they all want $10 & $15 a tasting? We will be totally broke & no $$ to buy wine.
Help me with ANY suggestions!
