We visited Sojourn on Hawkeye's rec and had a great tasting - and we are not really too wild about Pinots. Wish the weather here would cool off so that they could ship us what we bought! They require an appointment, so give them a call - the Pinot drinkers with you will be happy you did.

If you are looking for Pinot, as you travel from Napa to Sonoma, check out some of the wineries in the Carneros area which is on Hyw 12 and Hwy 121 between the two towns which is supposed to be Pinot country. Check the Napa map to see what is available.

Also, if you are a Pinot person, Sojurn which has a tasting room in the town of Sonoma is a MUST. They have 4 excellent Pinot and a couple very good Cabs. Have a great trip.

One of the best resources on Sonoma is the following website: http://www.sonomavalley.com/index.php/Table/wine/wineries/Wineries/

Actually, the best resource on Sonoma is poster yesilovewine. Look for her post and replies. She knows Sonoma!

We are Pinot Noir & Sauv Blanc fans ourselves. So, we will be in Sonoma this trip as well.

For Pinot Noir, look for wineries mainly in the Russian River area. Here is the map: http://sonoma.com/visitorsinfo/Sonoma_County_Winery_Map.pdf

I would actually suggest going into Sonoma and the Sonoma Square lots of tasting rooms in the area.

Also in Healdsburg, go to the various tasting rooms downtown. Here is a map: http://www.healdsburg.com/PDFs/Map%20-%20Downtown%20-%20Both%20Pages.pdf

Wineries to visit in Russian River area:
Harvest Moon
All with great Pinot Noir wines.

Hope this helps and y'all have a good time!
