Raising a glass to roots for Yes!! And a porch and a rocker - bliss! (and mosquito netting or something)

No, we knew this was coming so we didn't completely unpack.
This next stop is supposed to be the final plant...but so were the last 2, so we'll see.
We've bounced pretty steadily at 3-5 year intervals over the years, but its getting harder to tolerate, so with a little luck these roots will "take" and we will be blissfully planted in the Deep South where I belong....on my big wraparound porch, with wine in hand and my rocking chair creating that lovely cadence....ahhhh

Hi Yes,

You remind me of the famous Willie Nelson song,
"On the road again, Just can't wait to get on the road again"

Back in the early 80s we moved 4 times in 5 years. My expertise was starting Continuing Medical Education programs for physicians. We lived in Hixson, TN and I worked as an administrator at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. My first stop was for 2 years in the Dean's office at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where I upgraded their CME program. My next stop was at the Vanderbilt University College of Medicine where it only took me a year to get the CME program off the ground. Then we moved to Texas where I did the same thing at Texas A&M College of Medicine. From there we moved back to Tennessee where I was again employed by the U of T.

This was all between 1981 and 1985. So, I believe we win the moving door prize. Now, if you will all send me a bottle of wine, I will consider that payment.

Anyway, where ever you are going this time, I hope you haven't completely unpacked from the last move.

Greetings Everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season.
I'm finding Sonoma to be sorely under-represented here in our part of The Old North State....one offering from there on a menu IF we're lucky. We were out for dinner last night and the only bottle from Sonoma was a Seghesio Zin...which is an excellent wine, but why have zin on a menu at a Seafood restaurant? That one was wasted on me.
Today we'll have the Blue Jay Pinot with our Christmas Ham, possibly PRE-ceeded by a Riondo Rose' Prosecco, as its such a festive wine in the glass it looks like a party starter.
I'll be posting less in the coming year as we prepare for our next move, but I'll be around some. I hope somebody will take up the Sonoma Cause in my absence!!
Best wishes for the coming year to all my friends here; may you be blessed with peace, prosperity and the best of everything.
