I am another fan of the Calistoga Oasis Spa. The outside of the spa is not gorgeous but I understand that they are going to have a major remodel soon. I care less about appearances than getting a quality massage from a highly trained therapist. They say they practice Esalan and Swedish massage and you can really tell that they care about what they are doing. The mud and mineral bath areas are clean. I just had their Floral Garden special which included some great aromatheraphy oils, a strawberry drink, a face mask while in the bath, and they sent me home with some spring flower seeds. I thought the whole thing was charming.

I love the Calistoga Oasis Spa! I have had never had anything but the very best care while I was there. They don't do wraps but their massage therapists are some of the best I have ever experienced and I have had massage treatments all over the world. It's true the facilities are not luxurious but to me a nurturing atmosphere, cleanliness, well-trained staff, affordable prices, great specials and fabulous massage are all more important. I have been twice to the Fairmont Mission Inn Spa where you can have all the luxury you want for a huge price and they treat you like a unit passing through. I would much rather go to the Calistoga Oasis Spa. My husband and I use their couples mud areas before a massage at least three times a year.

Indian Springs in Calistoga is heavenly! The massage therapists are geniuses and they have good mud wraps, etc... plus a nice swimming pool to use if you book a massage appt.
