A "must" Bistro Don Giovanni (on Hwy 29 between Napa & Yountville)-make a reso and request a seat outside. The food is great as is the ambience.
A new place in downtown Napa is Loco - it's tex/mex and really good. It has an outdoor patio along the creek, cute and well within your price range.
Celedon never disappoints and has a nice outdoor patio.
Angele is a french bistro, with a patio along the Napa River. Great food, love sitting outside there.
If you want something very casual or are sick of going out & want to take something back to your room, order a pizza & salad from Pizza Azurro. The best pizza around.

for romance, treat yourself to a cocktail at the bar at Auberge de soleio - check it out on the internet - the view from the bar is terrific, and it is romantic - but be ready for drinks ranging from $ 9 - $ 14 each.
Follow that up with dinner at Tra Vigne in St. Helena - their wine prices aren't too bad, and their meals are excellent - entree's priced from about $ 10-15.00 - but salads, etc all extra.

A "local secret" with a top chef is Foothill Cafe - its food rivals any others in the valley - is small, cozy, meals I think in your stated range, they even had an "early bird" menu that is somewhat cheaper than the regular menu -

you could also go for a drink at the famed CIA - dinner there can get pricey, but it also has outdoor seating in the summer and nice view.

for excellent mexican food - with a twist, go to Las Palmas - it is casual - lunch or dinner. in Napa

Others to try: Zare - little above your preferred prices, is on Hwy 29 enroute to Yountville (north of Napa city)

Tuscany - downtown Napa
Wappo Bar and Bistro - Calistoga
Brix - hwy 29 just north of Yountville.

Napa has many great eating establishments, but they can be very, very pricy (and remember price does not necessarily equal great food)

Zuzu's gets my vote as well -- first for its incredible food, but also for atmosphere and that all important factor -- $$$. We are going in April -- so I'll keep my eye out for nice places in your price range.

ZUZU-downtown Napa
Spanish food
its the best, you can share and be romantic the staff is on top of it. The chef is creative and goes out of her way to put a little twist in her food.

We will be visiting Napa for three nights in August for our honeymoon. Since we live on the east coast and have never been to Napa, we are at a lost as to which resturants are "must" visit places.

We are looking to stay around $10-20 an entree.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
