Great suggestions!
I'd like to also mention that if you go to Jimtown store and your name is Jim, you have to sign the autograph hound
My husband and son have both signed it

Could not go without suggesting this thread as so many people want to know about where to picnic and where to get supplies.
Here are some of our favorites, in no particular order...
Chateau St. Jean- love the coziness to the picnic area and the volleyball and bocce courts that are available for your use. There is an on-site deli where you can purchase food.
Ledson- picnic tables are under HUGE old liveoaks. Its very peaceful there, but they do not allow food from outside to be brought in, so you have to buy from their deli. They have a pretty good assortment of foods available there.
Wilson- we like to sit on the patio and enjoy the vineyard view. They will provide glasses and a wine opener if you purchase a bottle to enjoy with your lunch.
DeLoach- has several areas to choose from for your "dining pleasure"- on a patio or creekside- and they offer a lunch basket that you can call ahead to order.
Stryker- gorgeous grounds with a lot of picnic space. You can pick up supplies down the road at the Jimtown Store.
