The Summer/Fall 2011 edition of touring and TAsting Magazine has a feature regarding family activities for Sonoma County. Since the question about what to do with kids comes up occasionally I thought this might be a relevant note.
Other resources that include ideas for travel with children in the wine country regions are: 101 Things to Do Guide ( available for locations all over the country, just type in where your interest is); californiawineryadvisor.com has had a section on children, whether it exists when you're reading this is anyone's guess. Several of the travel guide books offer a section on having kids in wine country as well. The two I own are Lonely Planet's "Napa/Sonoma Encounter" and Fodor's
"California Wine Country"
