Cab Girl,

You will get some great shots of the valley if you go up in a balloon! I've heard Balloons Above the Valley is a great one to go up up and away with!

Cabgirl, there is a website called cheers2wine.com that has a pretty comprehensive span of information and I am fairly sure that it was there that I recently saw a list of "great photo ops". I was looking at sonoma info, as usual, but they cover Napa, too, so it may be worth a look.

We have some adorable (to me!) shots of my daughter sitting on the barrels outside of Cakebread with the vines in the backround. Turnbull has a couple of cool old trucks on their property and lots of pretty flowers. Of course, the funky sculptures on Clos Pegase property would make for pretty interesting photos. The drive up Spring Mountain has numerous places for either a great view or a beautiful forest shot...

So I just got myself a dandy new canon camera. Thus far, I've only taken shots of people and my food at restaurants. Couple of landscape shots here and there...

But wondering if folks know some interesting places in the Valley for getting some really great shots - maybe a unique shot of the Valley or the vineyards, or even some of the wineries that have very unique architecture or really pretty gardens (I like taking photos of flowers too).

Kill two birds with one stone - wine tasting AND photography. Of course, that might effect some of my shots...Hmmm....
