Well hopefully you've found something, but yes contact the winery you'll be working for. Worst case, they can put you together with a few other interns to rent a space.

Check CL. Worst case, ask other wineries about where their harvest help stays and check with the wine boards of each district as they typically know a ton of people.

I think that your best bet for this situation would be a vrbo or maybe flipkey property.
We do have a couple of local residents who post, and perhaps you could check with them as well.
You COULD check with local colleges/tech schools to see if they have lists of off-campus housing providers, and you might also ask with the winegrower associations, if you are going to be working the harvest, if they offer some sort of listing for "seasonal" housing.

Hi K. - I'm not sure how much help you'll get from this board, since most of us just visit Napa Valley for a week or two at most. You might think about contacting some of the wineries to ask if they know of anything. Have you lined up some sort of work during harvest? If so, then perhaps your employer would know of some options.
Good luck!

Hello, I am in search mode for a apartment, studio, garage or guest house from sept 1 till nov 31! Currently I am living in burlington, vt and will be making my way out to ca at the end of August.

A little about myself, I am a 27 male that has a positive, easy to get along with attitude. I'll be working 10-12 hour days when I arrive and plan on making the most of my short term stay in sonoma/napa. I have a 35 lb 8 year old dog that loves people and also loves sleeping on my bed throughout the day. I would love to hear from anyone who might have a possible living situation.

Thanks!
