I have been searching for Chateau LaSalle for years. It was my favorite wine 30 years ago. Thanks for the info. This is very helpful. IP: 67.72.98.112 |

That wonderful old wine is now produced and distributed by North Lake Wines and is made at Constellation Brands winery in Madera, California. Selling at $9 for a 1.5 liter jug. Memories....it was the best.

I bought Chateaux LaSalle for years and Christian Brothers got out of the Wine Business. Now the Grape used for Chateaux LaSalle By CB probably was sold and I think Sutter Home had it because I bought a Bottle of their Wine and without a doubt, it was the same..........I depended on someone else to note the name and they didn't.....SO I have talked to a person at Sutter Home and they could not or would not offer any useful info. I am going to ask someone at CB to help trace it down.....The Ventage that I got must have been 2001 or 2002. I also am going to buy every white Wine under $6.00 from Sutter and see if it will turn up. It aught to be fun looking anyway....PLEASE, anyone that comes up with it PLEASE notify me @..GQuick691@gmail.com...My supician is that the Chateaux LaSalle as we know it is being used for a Merlot..........I wish all of us some luck and if I get luckey at this I'm going to buy a Lottery Ticket!!!!...GIP: 68.227.132.157 |
