The 24th annual Sonoma County Showcase of Wine & Food three-day event raised $385,000 for local charities that include Redwood Empire Food Bank and Santa Rosa Junior College.

Festivities began on Thursday, July 15 and went through Saturday evening with an incredible event ending performance by the San Francisco Symphony.

Lancaster Estate -- $30,000
Five magnums of Lancaster Estate and dinner for 10 hosted by owners Ted and Nicole Simpkins.

Dinner with the "Prima Famigliare" -- $20,000. Dinner for 10 with the Foppiano, Gallo, Pedroncelli, Sebastiani and Seghesio families paired with wines from their private cellars.

Gallo of Sonoma and Geyser Peak Winery -- $19,000 25 cases of 2003 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon and dinner for 10 hosted by Gina Gallo and Darryl Groom.

Wattle Creek Winery -- $19,000
Five cases of 2003 Wattle Creek Winery Estate Shiraz Alexander Valley.

10th ANNUAL Music Festival for Mental Health

The 10th Annual Music Festival for Mental Health which has raised $22 Million in just 9 years for mental health charities and research will be held on September 11. This year’s event includes an afternoon concert for featuring grammy winner Norman Brown. The concert will be followed by a gourmet dinner by lchef Cindy Pawlcyn and chef Michael Schlow. 11th Annual HANDS ACROSS THE VALLEY
One of the most anticipated social events of the
summer, Hands Across the Valley is scheduled for September 18, 2004 from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm on the grounds of the historic Niebaum-Coppola Estate Winery in Rutherford, Napa Valley. This 11th annual benefit features celebrities from Hollywood as well as the sports world teaming up with Napa Valley wineries and restaurants to raise money for the Valley’s safety net food programs.
