![]() Thomas Keller of the famous French Laundry restaurant has just published a new cookbook reflecting the food and spirit of Bouchon, his popular casual restaurant in Yountville that draws inspiration from restaurants in Lyon, the heart of classic French food.Besides its beautiful photographs and descriptions of the food and life of French bistros, “Bouchon” includes recipes for classic dishes such as quiche, onion soup, moules marinière and roast chicken. Unlike those in Keller’s earlier book “The French Laundry Cookbook,” most of the recipes are simple and suitable even for casual home cooks. The large coffeetable-sized book format matches Keller’s earlier book and retails for the same $50. |
