A new board game brings the challenge of blind tasting together with the fun of a wine trivia game designed to quash the notion that wine has to be intimidating.

“Winerd, The Wine Tasting Game That Crushes Grape Fears” is the brainchild of wine enthusiasts and educators Tamara Leigh Murphy and Richard Murphy. Players begin by blind tasting three wines of their choice and writing down their notes on special tasting note cards. They then advance their cork playing pieces around the game board by answering multiple-choice trivia questions on all aspects of wine. The “Blind Taste Spaces” challenge a player’s palate to see if they can identify one of the wines they first tasted.
