 Umbrellas in hand, 300 guests witnessed the wedding of Hugh Davies and Monique Camille Nelson on Oct. 25, 2004, at Schramsberg, the Davies family’s wine estate in Calistoga. The wedding party stood in a light rain in “Jack’s Grove” (in memory of the groom’s late father, Jack Davies) for the ceremony before heading for a tent and a family-style supper. The groom sang "Green Eyes" to his bride and the bride and her father danced to Bob Carlisle's "Butterfly Kisses." Monique is the western regional sales manager for Joseph Phelps Vineyards. Hugh is the general manager and winemaker for Schramsberg Vineyards and J. Davies Cabernet Sauvignon Vineyards.
