Featuring Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, violin The daring and intense Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg will perform two history-making ballet scores — Satie’s “Parade” and Stravinsky’s “Petrouchka” — as well as Bruch’s often neglected masterpiece “Violin Concerto in G Minor” at the Napa Valley Opera House on Jan 9 and Jan 11, 2005. Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg stands out in the field of classical music, with individual, passionate and powerful sound, a risk-taking persona, and with an energetic presence. A musician, author, and teacher, Nadja has been recognized as one of the world's preeminent violinists since 1981, when she burst onto the music scene as the youngest recipient of the Walter W.
