onoma County’s Taverna Santi, a darling of Healdsburg diners, consistently wows the faithful with well-honed inventive Italian cuisine and a nationally recognized wine list. Drawing from seasonal, locally grown and even estate-grown ingredients, chefs Franco Dunn and Thomas Oden have exercised their spectacular craft here for many years.

The only downside was that Santi’s schedule could be a little difficult to navigate, especially for daytime visitors. No more! Now Santi offers lunch or brunch Thursday through Monday, not to mention dinner seven days a week.

As devoted fans excited at the prospect of exploring the new brunch menu, we weren’t disappointed by the selection of lunch and brunch items. The Eggs Benedetto offered the fluffiest, freshest farm eggs we’ve tasted in ages, presented on a delectable homemade brioche with a perfect hollandaise sauce. The Panettone French Toast, an incredible bread infused with the texture of crunchy almonds, was presented with tasty strawberries and awesome maple syrup. Sated, we were perfectly primed for an afternoon of tasting local wines.
