What recession? At Meadowood
– the Napa Valley resort known for its luxe accommodations and tucked-away ambiance – weekends just got a lot more interesting. Indeed, in honor of its 45th anniversary, the resort is putting variety – and unapologetic luxury – back into wine country travel with an impressive lineup of wine- and wine country-themed events known as its Wine-Inspired Weekend Series.
The Luxe Life
Spanning nearly a dozen weekends between now and mid-June, the series features a well-edited selection of entertainment offerings conveniently packaged with five-star accommodations at the Relais & Chateaux property. From seminars on international wine and dining etiquette (read: lessons on how to sip like a local from Paris to Beijing to Dubai) to high-profile vintner dinners, a family-friendly Easter egg hunt/brunch and intimate soirées celebrating Auction Napa Valley
, the lineup is as tempting as it is varied. To be sure, this lineup is for the discerning – and still economically viable – visitor, and one who ought to arrive with gold Am Ex at ready. If this sounds like you, it looks like there’s little chance to go wrong at Meadowood this spring.
Reservations most definitely required.
