Private Solo Kayak Fishing & lunch

Growing the sport of kayak fishing and guiding in California and Mexico since the mid-’90’s, spend the day targeting big fish with kayak fishing pioneer, guide and writer Dennis Spike.  Spike will take you on the experience of a lifetime right here on the wine country’s Sonoma Coast.  Trips are fully outfitted, targeting lingcod and rockfish, sometimes salmon too.  Spincast and conventional saltwater outfits are supplied. Fly casters are welcome to bring a fly rod for a kayak flyfishing lesson and a few targetable species. Lunch is included. A few quick lessons onshore will get you familiar with the kayaks, fishing gear and fishery.  Paddle out, bait up and drop a line..  Most fish are caught within a 10-15 minute paddle off the beach.  Our goal is to get anglers on as many fish as we can.  The level of instruction through the course of the session is at the discretion of the guest and ranges from catching a lot of fish (easy) to comprehensive information for anglers intent on entering the sport of kayak fishing.  For hardcore anglers, this session will set a foundation for kayak fishing. End the day with lunch while your fish is cut and vacuum packaged with an expert fish cutting lesson. Freezing and shipping of your catch, filet or cut whole, is available.
