WINE COUNTRY—It's mom's special day…and you better have something special planned. We've put together a list of some of the best ideas throughout Wine Country to help celebrate all that is so wonderful about the woman who clothed you, fed you, changed your diapers and helped put you through college. And by the way, it wouldn't kill you to call once in a while.

Napa Valley

(Napa) Angele

(Yountville)  Napa Valley Grille
Mother's Day Brunch at Napa Valley Grille from 10am 3:30pm. 2-course brunch for $30 per person. (Angwin) Free Outdoor Shakespeare: TwelfthNight
 In four free outdoor performances, Pacific Union College presents Shakespeare's comedy "Twelfth Night" in the beautiful outdoor Angwin Amphitheatre. Musical and improv pre-shows begin at 1:30pm with Shakespeare taking the stage at 2pm

(Napa) Classic Family Concert Series: Mother's Day Concert
 Napa Valley Music Associates Presents Classic Family Concert Series 2006. A benefit for the Napa Valley Music Associates Music Conservatory Building Fund. All concerts take place at the beautiful and historic Napa landmark, The Churchill Manor B&B , 485 Brown Street, Napa. May 14th's concert features Heather Paschoal, Harpist "Extraordinaire" in a special Mother's Day concert. Please call for advance ticket reservations$20 Adults, $15 Seniors, 18 & under, free. (Sonoma) Carneros Bistro

(Santa Rosa) Zazu

(Sonoma) Gloria Ferrer Wine Caves Mother's Day Brunch
Make reservations for this popular event. Wild Thyme Restaurant will prepare a sumptuous feast paired with award-winning wines. The event lasts from 11am to 2pm with a sparkling wine reception followed by a private winery tour and lunch at 12:00 noon. Cost is $75.00 per person ($60.00 for under 21) and is all-inclusive. (Healdsburg) J Vineyards & Winery 
This weekend, Mom can relax with a complimentary food and wine flight at the J Winery bar. Or, toast her in the Bubble Room and enjoy reduced prices on Bubble Room Menu items. Ponte Family Estate Winery
The gift of food, food, food, entertainment for little ones and relaxation while others chase the wee ones around at the Mother’s Day Luncheon at Ponte Winery. Six different meal stations overseen by chef Steve Stawinski, the luncheon includes a breakfast station, a seafood station, a carving station, a salad station, and the piece de resistance: the fantastic kids buffet.
