Silverado Vineyards was one of the first four wineries to plant Cabernet Sauvignon in the Stags Leap district in the 1960s (4 estate vineyards were originally planted to vines between 1868-1882 during the covered wagon era). Today, under the ownership of Bill and Carol Foley and leadership of Courtney Foley, Silverado Vineyards continues to honor the founders’ legacy and vision to create the best wines possible from the beautiful Silverado Vineyards.
