Hey Damombo, I'm really needing your input for some of your Sonoma sites, especially Unti if you made it. Where did you get off to, anyhow?????IP: 98.232.221.183 |

Damombo, When you go to Loxton, be sure to try the 'port'. Its outstanding. Also, one of the recent wine competitions (I think it was the ZAP event in Jan) rated the Dutcher Crossing Maple Zin the top zin of the year, so don't miss that one.IP: 98.232.221.183 |

Hey! Looks like a "Zin" day....any interest in Unti? Its on my radar since my eye doctor told me about it, but I don't know if they have a zin. Or maybe Mazzocco- not only are they one of the Wilson collection, but they have some of the nectar of the Gods...Maple Zin... Or...you could stop at that Family Wineries location on Dry Creek Rd and go to Kokomo...they make some great wines, including an un-oaked chard. Any of those would be on your way back to Healdsburg. **Note: Checked on the Unti, and YES they do have Zins and they sound delish+. Also, got a map out that I could see everything on and Bella is very near DC...they do a cave tasting, so that might be interesting.[This message has been edited by yesilovewine (edited 04-07-2011).] IP: 98.232.221.183 |
