Hi all.
I wanted to share some info about one of our favorite vineyards with you.
The Pagani Family has severed its ties with St. Francis vineyards and will now be selling grapes to some new wineries that are more in keeping with the ideology of the Pagani family. Bedrock Wine Co ( owned by the son of the founder of Ravenswood), Biale, Carlisle and one other which I can't recall at this moment are the new recipients. The article goes into more detail, of course and may be posted elsewhere.
So, if you love the richness of the Pagani Vineyard wines, you should be able to find them at the above in the future.
I received the information through the Bedrock Wine Co. mailing list; Morgan has begun posting articles that showcase heritage vineyards and Pagani is the topic this time. The entire article may be on the winery website, but I didn't look to see.
Bedrock isn't open to the public, but on occasion Morgan sponsors events with the Heritage Vineyard Society which are and his wines may be poured there.
