Hawkeye, Its the Sonoma Valley Wine Growers website. I don't know if they have determined the spring dates yet, though.IP: 71.65.198.80 |

Well thank you, Hawkeye. I have read that you are planning a Napa only trip this fall; have you given any thoughts to next spring yet? If not, do consider the Sonoma Reserve event- its a fair price and since you are driven around its very relaxed.IP: 71.65.198.80 |

Hi Yesilovewine,You are just a jump, skip and holler from us over here in Tennessee. If you ever find your way over here, holler and we will pop a cork. -Hawkeye IP: 68.169.184.155 |

Hi yesilovewine,Glad to see that you are back on the board. It has gotten pretty boring on here without your posts. What part of the country did you end up in? Anyway, glad you are back. -Hawkeye IP: 68.169.184.155 |

Hi 40th and congrats! There are several wineries in Sonoma county that do grape stomps during harvest. Not sure if anyone will sponsor a private event, but if you will check the event calendars at WineCountryThisWeek.com, sonomauncorked.com and the sonoma county winegrowers association ( sorry, i forget the exact address) to see who is offering the event, you can follow up with them directly and see if they can help you with something for your specific group. Sounds like a fun way to spend your birthday! Hope you can work it out. I think its White Oak that has an annual "stomp" to stomp our breast cancer, so you might start with them....[This message has been edited by yesilovewine (edited 08-28-2011).] IP: 71.65.198.80 |

Hi 40th - happy birthday in October I'm afraid I don't know of anyplace off hand. Several years ago, visiting Grgich in Napa Valley, they had a small set up for anyone who wanted to to stomp on some grapes. It held two people, who kind of held onto each other. I think they had towels for after, but I'm not positive I would just start calling some of the smaller wineries in Sonoma. See if they would be willing to set up something for you. If you are successful, please come back and tell us all about it! Good luck!
