Monterey’s annual 4th of July Parade draws around 15,000 people to Old Monterey for a festive morning of floats, music, and patriotic fun. The parade begins at 10am at Alvarado and Pearl Streets, winds down Alvarado, turns onto Del Monte, then Calle Principal, and ends at Jefferson Street.

Arrive early to grab a good spot and enjoy the lively atmosphere with colorful costumes and community spirit. For parking, the best options are the West Garage, East Garage, or Lot 7 (accessible via Pacific Avenue).
