Legendary soprano Renée Fleming brings her celebrated multimedia concert, Voice of Nature: The Anthropocene, to the enchanting grounds of Charles Krug Winery in St. Helena as part of Festival Napa Valley’s landmark 20th Anniversary Season. Inspired by her Grammy Award-winning album, this extraordinary performance weaves together Romantic-era art songs by Grieg, Liszt, Fauré, and Hahn with stirring contemporary works by Nico Muhly, Caroline Shaw, and Kevin Puts — all exploring the natural world as both muse and mirror of our times.
Accompanied by an original film curated by the National Geographic Society, the evening transforms Charles Krug’s storied winery setting into a breathtaking sensory experience where music, imagery, and wine country beauty converge. Also featured on the program are dynamic sister duo and Bouchaine Young Artists Hina & Fiona, who will premiere a new work by celebrated composer John Corigliano — The Red Violin: Suite for Two Violins and Orchestra — commissioned specially by Festival Napa Valley.
This choose-your-own-price event (starting at just $5, with a $35 suggested donation) takes place Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. It’s a rare chance to experience world-class artistry under the Napa Valley sky at one of the region’s most historic wineries.
