Great Bowls of Fire Chili Cookoff 2026 returns as one of Carmel Valley’s favorite culinary traditions, bringing together local chefs, bold flavors, refreshing margaritas, live music, and friendly competition.

Guests can sample creations from professional and amateur chili competitors, taste and vote in the Margarita Contest, and enjoy live entertainment throughout the afternoon. New for 2026, the Master of the Ladle Award, presented by Executive Chef Benjamin Brown of The Lodge at Pebble Beach, will recognize an outstanding chili and exceptional margarita selected by the acclaimed chef.

Competitors will vie for bragging rights, prizes, and top honors including Best Professional Chili, Best Amateur Chili, and Best Margarita. Whether you’re a chili enthusiast, margarita lover, or simply looking for a flavorful afternoon of fun, this fiery event promises delicious tastes and lively entertainment for all.
