Calistoga’s Moonacre Spa, located 90 minutes north of San Francisco on the larger Calistoga Motor Lodge property, takes its cues from the classic bath houses of the 1800s. From its mineral salt offerings all the way to its four private claw foot soaking tubs, guests can relax away any stress they bring with them.

The Spa is home to a playful and revitalizing “apply your own” mud bar, relaxation garden with outdoor pergola patio and outdoor showers, steam room and myriad of massage treatments, including CBD. Guests can lounge at the property’s outdoor swimming pool, wading pool, and indoor whirlpool—all of which are fed by Calistoga’s hot mineral springs.

The Moonacre Spa also plays host to customizable private events and lively public events. A seasonal highlight is the Moonshine Spa Party, where guests welcome the rise of the full moon while enjoying nibbles, schnapps, beer and glow-in-the-dark mud. Also not to be missed is the weekly Happy Spa Hour, where guests can get a quick hit of bliss with two 25-minute treatments.
