Here at Spoonbar, we like to keep things local. We spotlight locally and domestically produced spirits and organic herbs, fruits and vegetables grown by our neighbors to create true farm-to-bar cocktails. We're pretty keen on seasonal too.
Each quarter, our talented bar team, headed up by Tara Heffernon, creates a handful of featured drinks based on a single spirit that captures the essence of season. Some of our latest creations include a list exclusively devoted to shrubs, sugar, vinegar and fruit or vegetable extraction based cocktails. Don't miss giving them a try!
Spoonbar’s wine list is rooted in the four stellar wine regions right outside our door--Alexander, Dry Creek and Russian River Valleys and the Sonoma Coast--and roam to southern Italy, Spain and France to suit the global meanderings of the menu. Many, in keeping with the eco-friendly philosophy of h2hotel, are organic, biodynamic or sustainably made and four are poured on tap to reduce packaging and waste.
There is a $20 corkage per bottle which will be waived with a purchase of a bottle of wine from Spoonbar’s wine list.
Chef Louis Maldonado’s market-driven menu might best be described as contemporary American fare that’s creatively crafted yet approachable. Earthy favorites like beef short ribs and pork shoulder take exciting twists when paired with unexpected flavors from around the globe. And the seafood, grains and seasonal produce shine just as brightly.
The modern presentation of each dish – on custom plates made by local potter Jered Nelson – is as artful as the restaurant’s airy interior. And with a critically acclaimed cocktail program led by rising star bar manager Tara Heffernon, the atmosphere is lively and vibrant.
