The Charles Krug Tasting Room is a vibrant blend of old and new. Rustic, yet modern, the room pays tribute to the winery’s history with high, open-beam ceilings, large windows showcasing a Reserve Barrel Room, a giant wall of 1861-label wines, and seated tasting options. Try our Cucina di Rosa’s handcrafted cured meats and artisan cheeses or woodfired pizzas enjoyed seasonally on our lawn.
This tasting features five small-lot, estate wines. They may include our Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc, Limited Release Malbec, Family Reserve Generations Bordeaux-style blend, Vintage Selection Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cold Springs Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon. Selections vary based on availability. This flight is served with small bites from our Cucina di Rosa Salumeria. Reservations strongly encouraged. ($45)
Tour & Tasting
Explore the unique history of Charles Krug and the Mondavi family with an intimate tour and tasting that includes a selection of handcrafted artisan cured meats and cheeses to enjoy with our estate wines. Offered Monday through Friday at 10:30 am, with advanced reservations ($75).
From Prosciutto to Coppa, Pecorino to Taleggio, our handcrafted Italian cured meats and cheeses showcase our estate wines and our Italian heritage. Our estate chef will prepare a special selection of cured meats, cheeses or both. Pair with a flight of wines tableside or a glass of wine at our counter. Offered daily, 11 am to 4 pm.
Outdoor Pizza Kitchen
Join us July through October when we fire up our Mugnaini wood-burning pizza oven outside our historic Redwood Cellar. Relax on our tree-lined lawn and enjoy one of our authentic Italian-style pizzas, made with herbs and vegetables from our estate garden and with selected meats from our Salumeria. Each pizza pairs perfectly with an array of Charles Krug wines. Offered Thursdays through Mondays, 11 am to 4 pm.
