At J Vineyards & Winery’s luxuriously renovated Bubble Room, Executive Chef Carl Shelton takes guests through an innovative gastronomic exploration of Sonoma-inspired food and wine, pairing his imaginative and intricate seasonal dishes with J’s acclaimed varietal and Sparkling wines.
Over five courses, Chef Carl uses impeccable, progressive cooking techniques to showcase the exceptional wines from J winemaker Nicole Hitchcock. As artists sharing a single canvas, the nuanced and layered flavors of J wines are highlighted and accented by the complex flavors of each dish, resulting in an unparalleled food and wine pairing experience.
The J Bubble Room is a celebration of J’s pioneering legacy in food and wine pairing, first offered at the winery in 1999. J Vineyards & Winery continues to push the boundaries of food and wine pairing with a full range of culinary experiences at the sophisticated and elegant J Visitor Center, fully renovated in 2017.
At the seated J Legacy Tasting, guests explore reserve varietal and sparkling wines with an optional artisan cheese pairing to match each taste. During warmer months, visitors have the option to experience this tasting outside on our Terrace, Friday - Sunday.

The Caviar Collective
On October 16th, join us for an unforgettable caviar experience. We will have the Caviar Company here giving tips and tricks on how to amplify any dish with the addition of caviar. Guests will enjoy six different caviars on composed dishes that pair beautifully with our small production sparkling wines.
The Bubble Room at J Vineyards & Winery brings together the J Culinary Team and Winemaker Nicole Hitchcock. With the bounty of Sonoma County at their fingertips, the J Culinary Team uses ingredients and techniques to create five courses of food and wine pairings to showcase Nicole’s wines. Each menu tells a different story of the relationship between our varietal and sparkling wines and locally sourced ingredients.
This relaxing seated tasting features J’s small-production Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sparkling Wines. Artisan cheese pairing is also available for an additional fee.
