Leon Brendel was a winemaker who bought a small plot of land in Napa Valley in the 1950s to make wine his way. His name serves as a reminder to keep our intentions pure in the pursuit of making wine that stays true to our land, our roots, and most importantly, ourselves.
Truth in Terroir
Our wines are made with organically farmed 100% Napa Valley fruit and free of any unnecessary ingredients. In short, we let the grapes speak for themselves, with minimal interference from birth to bottle. All wines are crafted by Heitz Cellar winemaker Brittany Sherwood.

If you’re looking for a lively tasting room, look no further. We have a hopping, grooving, A+ Wine Bar in Downtown Napa, complete with movies, live music, open mic nights, and really great wine. It’s like a trifecta plus one.
Reservations are welcome but not required. Unlike shoes.

Enjoy a sampling of Heitz wines with this trio of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Lot C-91 Cabernet Sauvignon, and Lot C-91 Blanc.
Shining a spotlight on underappreciated and non-traditional varietals in California, this collection is named after the bond number for Leon Brendel’s original winery. How cool is that? It’s like history in a glass. Or bottle.
