Groth Vineyards & Winery is a family-owned company with deep roots in Napa Valley’s Oakville AVA. Oakville is a breathtakingly beautiful place set among centuries-old oak trees and a patchwork of meticulously planted vineyards stretching between the majestic Mayacamas and Vaca mountain ranges.

Dennis Groth worked as Vice President of Finance at Atari before he and his wife, Judy, purchased our Oakville Estate in 1981. (Visitors with keen eyes will spot an Atari console at the winery!) With hope, intuition and a shared vision with their neighbors, the Groth family helped Oakville become recognized as one of the world’s preeminent wine regions.

We invite you to experience our critically acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay at our unique mission-style winery in the heart of Napa Valley. Private tours and tastings are available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily by appointment. Guest experiences include seated tastings in our grand tasting room, a sustainability-focused tour through our insectary garden, and a tour that concludes with a tasting on our secluded winery terrace.
