"Fore Family Vineyards is a family affair. Since 2005 they have been producing wines with grapes grown in the Lake County region. Currently the varietals includeGrenache Blanc, Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel.

This hidden winery is worth a drive up the coast to Fort Ross, where higher altitude grapes give the wines a unique flavor. You'll need to leave the dogs at home, but sweeping views of the coastline and their Pintotage make this a must-visit tasting room.

This small, family owned winery tends to three unique blocks of Cabernet vines, nurtured with passion to create just the right depth of character in each wine. Tours and tastings available by appointment.

The Foursight tasting room is located just south of Boonville, right along Highway 128. They are dog-friendly and have a picnic area and patio space where customers can enjoy glasses and bottles of wine.
