The 15th Annual Festival of Lights returns to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens from November 28–December 21, with doors opening at 5 PM and last entry at 7 PM every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This beloved fundraiser transforms the gardens into a glowing wonderland, featuring 100% original, handmade light displays crafted by staff and volunteers. Stroll through sparkling ocean scenes, jungle displays, shooting stars, playful dogs, flamingos, and more—each designed to enchant visitors of all ages.

Enjoy warm drinks and sweet treats at the FOG Holiday Café, and visit Santa every Sunday for festive photos. Special Dazzle & Dance Sundays on December 7 and 14 add extra fun with face painting, a dance zone, Santa photos, and fry bread tacos from Turtle Island Tacos. Bundle up and wander the illuminated pathways while experiencing one of the coast’s most magical holiday traditions.
