The Mendocino Art Center hosts the sixth annual Mendocino Open Paint Out, a plein air festival. Watch prestigious featured artists paint outdoors, shop daily “wet paint” sales in the Art Center’s galleries with new paintings created each day by more than 60 artists, and view daily demonstrations presented by the featured artists.

Friday evening, September 21 enjoy refreshments and cast your vote for your favorite painting of the week at the People’s Choice Party.

Saturday, September 22, watch a Quick Draw Competition and vote for your favorite Quick Draw painting. Then stay for a celebratory reception and awards presentation.

Sunday, September 23, will be your last chance to buy your favorite painting. All activities are free and open to the public. Gallery hours vary.
