Step into the season with MOXI’s Seaside Sock Skating, a unique exhibit where kids and adults can kick off their shoes and glide across a specialty tile floor that mimics the feel of ice—without the cold! This frictionless fun is included with museum admission, so don’t forget your socks!

No skates are needed; simply bring your own cotton or natural fiber socks for the best sliding experience. Forgot yours? No problem—socks are available for purchase in the Museum Store. Please exercise caution, respect fellow skaters, and remember that sock skating involves balance and sliding, with a risk of falls.
