Prepare for a magical pumpkin experience at the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off on October 18th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The main event of the 2024 Ukiah Country PumpkinFest takes place on October 19th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and October 20th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Ukiah, themed “PumpkinFest: Down the Rabbit Hole.”
PumpkinFest offers a variety of attractions, including a Fire and Safety Expo, Food Court, Beer and Wine Garden, Haunted House, Scarecrow City, Scout-O-Rama, interactive rides, a Children’s Stage, a baking contest, a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, dog races, and a pet costume contest.
The festival has deep roots, inspired by Harry and Shirley Botham, who organized the first event in 1993. With support from the city and community, the official PumpkinFest launched in 1994, celebrating the spirit and fun of pumpkins in Ukiah.
