What is Covet Pass?

Covet Pass is the only pass that offers immediate access to the nation’s top wine regions, including complimentary tastings at premium wineries in Napa Valley, Sonoma County, and Lake County. Covet Pass also includes perks, such as lodging, shopping, activity, and transportation discounts, as well as online tools for researching and planning visits.

What wineries are included in the Covet Pass?

The Covet Pass includes wineries located in Napa Valley, Sonoma County and Lake County. Feel free to consult the up-to-date list of wineries or within your Covet Pass account. New wineries are being added all the time!

BUYING A COVET PASS

Why can’t I buy more than one Covet Pass at a time?

At this time, every Covet Pass holder must have unique login information. If you are planning to visit the wineries with a friend, spouse, or partner, make sure to purchase additional passes at covetpass.com. We are working on the ability to set up multiple accounts in one transaction.

What payment methods can I use to buy my Covet Pass?

You can purchase Covet Pass using any major credit card.

USING COVET PASS

I’m a Covet Pass holder, now how do I decide where to go?

With several premium wineries at your fingertips, it’s hard to wrong. You can create itineraries, search by geography, and check out the types of wine at each winery. You can also look at the wineries that require tasting reservations versus those that allow walk-ins.

How many wineries can I visit?

At this time, you have one complimentary tasting to redeem at several premium wineries. We encourage you to explore each and every winery available to you on the Covet Pass.

How do I redeem my complimentary tasting at each winery?

After purchasing your Covet Pass, present both your photo ID and your unique Covet Pass number at each participating winery to redeem your one complimentary tasting. For wineries requiring a reservation, call or email the winery directly.

How do I use my Covet Pass at participating wineries that are indicated as “reservation only?”

To book a tasting reservation at the select reservation-only Covet Pass wineries , call or email the winery directly. Contact information is available on each winery’ websites. Once you have arrived for your tasting reservation, present both your photo ID and your unique Covet Pass number to redeem your one complimentary tasting.

How many times can I visit a winery for complimentary tastings?

You can redeem one complimentary tasting at each participating Covet Pass winery. You, of course, have the option to purchase additional tastings at each winery, as well.

I have misplaced my Covet Pass holder number, now what?

You have a few options—you can search your email inbox for your Covet Pass email confirmation, which includes your Covet Pass holder number. You can log in to your personal Covet Pass account at covetpass.com to find your Covet Pass holder number. Or you can email covet@winecountry.com, and we’ll help you out.

Can my friend or partner use my Covet Pass?

No. Covet Pass tastings and perks are not transferable from one pass holder to another person. Only the Covet Pass holder can use the pass. Your friend or partner is welcome to purchase tastings independently at each winery—or better yet, purchase their own Covet Pass at covetpass.com.

Can I use Covet Pass for myself and a guest?

No. Only the Covet Pass holder can redeem tastings and perks. Your guest is welcome to purchase tastings independently at each winery—or better yet, purchase their own Covet Pass at covetpass.com.

Do I have to be 21 to buy and use a Covet Pass?

Yes. You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase Covet Pass, and you will need to show your photo ID at each participating winery to redeem your complimentary tasting.

What happens if I show up at a Covet Pass winery and forgot that I already redeemed my tasting?

You can verify all redeemed tastings, including date and time, via your personal Covet Pass account on WineCountry.com here. If you have already redeemed your tasting, you can always purchase another at the winery.

Can I add my Covet Pass to Apple Wallet?

Yes.

Do all wineries accept Covet Pass?

No. Covet Pass is currently accepted at a select number of premium wineries. This list is dynamic and is changing on a weekly basis. As a Covet Pass holder, you will be the first to know about new wineries as they are added.

If I have a great experience at a Covet Pass winery, how can I join their wine club?

Ask anyone at the Covet Pass winery how to join their wine club. Most Covet Pass wineries also include the option to join their wine clubs online.

How do I manage or renew my Covet Pass?

Log in to your personal account online at covetpass.com to manage your account and renew your Covet Pass.

Does my Covet Pass automatically renew after one year?

No. Please be sure to log in to your personal account online at covetpass.com to renew your Covet Pass. Don’t worry, we will also send you a reminder to renew when the time comes.

How do I know which wineries I have redeemed (or been to?)

You can view a list of all your redeemed tastings, including date and time, via your personal Covet Pass account on covetpass.com.

When does my Covet Pass expire?

From the date of purchase, you have 365 days to redeem all Covet Pass tastings and perks.

Can I transfer my Covet Pass to someone else?

No. Covet Pass, including its complimentary tastings and perks, is not transferable to another person. Only the Covet Pass holder can use the pass. We encourage everyone to purchase their own Covet Pass at covetpass.com.
