Everyone has a wonderful memory associated with chocolate – but when you bring in a chocolate chip cookie (or two)…People smile ear to ear!
- 2 ¼ cups unsifted flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup (½ pound butter)
- ¾ cup white sugar
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- Heat oven to 375.
- Mix flour with baking soda and salt, and set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter with both sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour mixture, then chips.
- Drop by large spoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8-12 minutes, just until golden around the edges. Do not overbake!
